Lewis Butts 1913-2016

Lewis E. Butts, 102, of Topeka, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016, at the Topeka Presbyterian Manor.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25 at the Topeka Presbyterian Manor Jellison Chapel. Entombment will follow in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. Lewis will lie in state and the family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24 at the Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave., Topeka.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Topeka Presbyterian Manor Good Samaritan Fund, 4712 S.W. Sixth St., Topeka, KS 66606; or to the Topeka Church of the Brethren, 3201 N.W. Rochester Rd., Topeka, KS 66617.
