Lela Kroh 1920-2016
Lela C. Kroh, 96, Kansas City, Mo., born on Sept. 2, 1920, near Soldier, died peacefully on Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2016.
She lived a full and joyful life. She was preceded in death by her daughter Betty Jo Box.
She is survived by a sister, Edwina Pollock, Holton; a daughter, Sandra K. Lester of Platte City, Mo.; a son, Kenneth A. Grigsby Sr. and wife Melody of Plattsmouth, Neb.; a son, Steven R. Grigsby Sr. and wife Jackie of Shawnee; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Private burial services will be held in Soldier at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the NorthCare Hospice House at N.K.C. Hospital. Cremation Society of KS and MO, 5561 NW Barry Road, Kansas City, Mo., is in charge of arrangements.
