Larry Creevan 1950-2016
Lawrence J. “Larry” Creevan, 65, Wamego, died Thursday, Aug. 18, 2016 at Crestview Nursing Home in Seneca.
He was born Sept. 14, 1950, at Fairbury, Neb., the son of Lawrence W. and Jo Ann Nider Creevan. He graduated from Westmoreland High School in 1968.
Mr. Creevan served in the U.S. Navy aboard USS Providence during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his mother, Jo Ann Creevan, Onaga; a son, Anthony Moore, Pawnee City, Neb.; two sisters, Barbara Perez and husband Richard, Onaga, and Jacqueline “Jaci” Morris and husband Robert, Circleville; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, James Patrick Creevan.
Cremation is planned. Graveside services with military honors will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Columkille Catholic Cemetery at Blaine.
