Karren Hill 1967-2019

Karren Hill, 52, Cuba, Mo., died Saturday, May 18, 2019, at her home.

She was born May 6, 1967, in Mexico, Mo., the daughter of James Kenneth and Lonnie Elsberry Heaton.

Mrs. Hill worked at Poplar Bluff Hospital as a medical records technician for a few years, then moved to Cuba, Mo., in 2010.

She married David L. Hill on May 10, 2003, in East Prairie, Mo. He survives.

Other survivors include her mother, Lonnie Cape and husband Jerry, Cuba, Mo.; her father, Ken Heaton and wife Sue, Holton; three brothers, Darren Heaton and wife DeeAnn, Cuba, Mo., Michael Cape and wife Julie, Rolla, Mo., and Ed Cape and wife Tonya, Tecumseh; two sisters, Marsha Light and husband Charlie, Steelville, Mo., and Patty Doyle and husband Dan, Holton; four stepchildren, James Hill and wife April, Piedmont, Mo., Mary Runk, Van Buren, Mo., Amanda Wolford and husband Dustin, East Prairie, Mo., and Chassidy Hill, Cape Girardeau, Mo.; and aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Don and Fay Elsberry and Jim and Lillian Heaton.

Visitation and funeral services were held Wednesday at Hutson Funeral Home, Cuba, Mo., with Pastor Dan Morrison officiating. Burial was held in Meramec Hills Cemetery, Cuba, Mo.
