Janita Jordan 1971-2016

 

Janita Lucille Clark Jordan, 44, Holton, died Monday, July 11, 2016, from injuries sustained in a traffic accident south of Holton.

She was born Sept. 10, 1971, in Topeka, the daughter of Robert and Shelia Fink Clark. She graduated from Royal Valley High School and Kaw Valley Vocational Tech­nical School, where she earned her LPN certification.

Ms. Jordan had worked at sev­eral nursing homes and was cur­rently employed with Manor Care in Topeka.

She was a member of Hoyt United Methodist Church.

She married Joseph Shultz. They divorced. She married Harold Jor­dan. They also divorced.

Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Shelia and Marvin Murray; and aunts and uncles, Schrita Fink, Hoyt, Sonya Berg­man, Mayetta, Mary Moore, Law­rence, and William Clark, Alta Vista. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Clark; a brother, Cameron Clark, on April 24, 2016; and her grandparents, Karl and Ella Fink.

Cremation is planned. Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Hoyt. Burial will be held later in Steward Cemetery. Family and friends will meet from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
