Jack Bennett 1935-2016

Jack Clinton Bennett, 81, Jeffer­son City, Mo., formerly of the Sil­ver Lake area, died Friday, June 3, 2016, at Jefferson City Nursing and Rehab.

He was born May 1, 1935, in Soldier, the son of Harold Emerson and Nancy Ann Paslay Bennett.

Mr. Bennett had worked for moving companies in several dif­ferent communities throughout his life. He had lived in Jefferson City, Mo., since 1979.

Survivors include a brother, Merle Bennett, Anderson, Ind. He was preceded in death by his par­ents and a brother, Clifford Bennett.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Mayetta Cemetery. Mercer Funeral Home in Holton is in charge of arrangements.
