Fawn Cadue 1954-2020

Fawn Aiko Gouge Cadue, 65, Holton, died Friday, July 17, 2020, at her home with family by her side.

She was born Nov. 22, 1954, in Tokyo, Japan, the daughter of Forest Gilbert and Aiko Takahashi Gouge. She graduated from Tonganoxie High School in 1972.

Ms. Cadue was self-employed from 2010 to 2012, owning and operating WC Concessions. She was also a caretaker for Father Jim O’Grady for many years. 

Survivors include her children, Kristan Gouge, Branson, Mo., Jon Gouge and wife Krystle, Holton, Kacee Elliott and husband Chuck, Manhattan, and Kendra Bratcher and husband Rocky Jr., Holton; four sisters, Cheryl Lane and husband Dennis, Topeka, Bonny Hicks, Salina, Tina Scully and husband Roscoe, Perry, and Ericka Hale and husband Lloyd, Spring Hill; three brothers, Kim Gouge and wife Teri, Lawrence, Dana Gouge and wife Michelle, Shawnee, and Forest Gouge II, Sacramento, Calif.; nine grandchildren, Lydia Mellech, Daquari Hardman, Breanna Gouge, Caitlin Gouge, Amaya Cadue, Mason Cadue, John Charles Elliott, Katherine Elliott and Jerzee Gouge; and a great-grandchild, Ezikeil Munoz.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 22 at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Ms. Cadue will lie in state from Monday afternoon until service time. A visitation will be held one hour prior to service time.
