Elaine Hubach 1942-2017

 

Elaine Myrtle Hubach, 74, Mayetta, died Sunday, Sept. 10, 2017.

She was born Nov. 8, 1942, in Lusk, Wyo., the daughter of the Rev. Millard and Myrtle Paulson Marshall. She graduated from Onaga High School in 1960 and attended Emporia State University for two years.

Mrs. Hubach lived in the Mayetta and Denison area for the past 44 years. She was a home­maker and housewife.

She was a member of Mayetta United Methodist Church and Or­der of Eastern Star.

She married Ted Hubach on April 8, 1967, in Keosauqua, Iowa. He survives.

Other survivors include two daughters, Diana Kern and husband Adam, Meriden, and Audrey How­ard and husband Peter, Boxford, Mass.; a sister, Laurel Becker, Augusta; four grandchildren, Jer­emy Kern, Tana Kern, Peter How­ard Jr. and Andy Howard; and three great-grandchildren, Jacie, McKenzie and Brodie. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Bill Marshall.

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Mercer Fu­neral Home in Holton. Family will greet friends from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
