Edwina Collins 1955-2016
Edwina Gail Collins, 60, Bucksport, Maine, formerly of Wetmore, died Thursday, March 17, 2016, at Eastern Maine Medical Center.
She was born July 7, 1955, in Holton, the daughter of Clements Claudean “Claude” Nott Sr. and Mary Frances Chrisman Nott. She graduated from Wetmore High School in 1973 and later received her social service and nurse aide diploma from Highland Community College.
Ms. Collins worked for several years as a nurse at Merry Manor and Medicalodges Gran Villas.
Survivors include three children, Angel Richards and husband Ken and Matthew Collins, all of Bucksport, Maine, and Garrett Collins, Topeka; three grandchildren, Jeremi Jacobs Jr. and wife Catlyn, and Ashley and Kylie Richards; three great-grandchildren Chloe, Mason and Makenzie Jacobs; three sisters, Claudia Murphy and husband Neely, Leonardville and Pamela Heckerson and husband Roger and Paula Rogers, all of Holton; and two brothers, Randy and Dean Nott, both of Wetmore. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Ms. Collins was cremated. No funeral services are planned. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
