Doris Squires 1930-2020

Doris Kathleen Squires, 90, Wetmore, died Wednesday, March 11, 2020, in Holton.

She was born Feb. 11, 1930, in Etham, England, the daughter of George and Catherine Rotherie Waller. She graduated from high school in London, England.

Ms. Squires was a packer for a food manufacturer in London.

She married Richard William Squires on March 21, 1954, in London, England. They later divorced.

Survivors include her daughter, Lorraine Bounds and husband Bob, Wetmore; two granddaughters, Stephanie Bounds-Peuker and husband Loris and Shannon Bounds; and a great-granddaughter, Skylar Peuker. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary; and seven brothers, Stan, George, Harry, Anthony, John, Ronald and Arthur Waller.

Celebration of life services will be held at a later date. A book will be available at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton.
