Delia Greenwood 1940-2015
Delia A. Greenwood, 75, Mayetta, died Thursday, June 18, 2015, at her home in Mayetta.
She was born Jan. 28, 1940, in Aurora, Colo., the daughter of John and Flossie Hensley Brown. She received her G.E.D. in 1978 and later obtained her LPN degree from Kaw Area Vo-Tech.
Ms. Greenwood was an LPN at the VA Hospital in Topeka and retired after 26 years.
Survivors include her children, Robert Primm and wife Alicia, Holton, J.D. Ellis and wife Melanie, Mustang, Okla., and Roberta McCartney and husband Mike, Willis; a daughter-in-law, Sherryl Neuforth and husband Eric, Plattsburg, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
Ms. Greenwood was cremated. Celebration of life services will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Delia Greenwood Memorial Fund, to be designated at a later date and sent in care of Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436. Mercer Funeral Home in Holton is in charge of arrangements.
