Dawn White 1970-2020

Dawn Marie White, 49, passed away peacefully in her home on Feb. 5, 2020.

She was the wife of Brian Eugene White. Dawn and Brian shared 15 years of marriage. She was the daughter of Ron and Betsy Montieth and grew up in Lenexa.

Dawn was a respiratory therapist at St. John’s Hospital in Joplin, Mo. She loved helping her patients and working with her colleagues.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Brian; her two sons, Alex and Adam; and her stepdaughter, Gretchen. Her children were her world and she was such a wonderful mother. She is also survived by her parents, Ron and Betsy, and her sister, Ronda, whom she lovingly called “Herman.”

Dawn will be remembered for her smile that lit up any room, laugh, bubbly personality, feistiness and her love of the lake. She cherished her time with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 3 at Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Hoyt, followed by a private family burial.
