David McClacherty 1966-2020

David Owen McClacherty was born in Fort Worth, Texas, on Sept. 27, 1966, and died at his home in Fort Worth on Jan. 1, 2020. He had lived all his life in the Fort Worth area.

He graduated from Mansfield High School in Mansfield, Texas, where he participated in sports, was an honor student in mathematics and a member of the FFA chapter. He graduated from TCJC in Fort Worth, Texas, and was an automobile and truck mechanic for various dealerships in the Fort Worth area. He was currently employed by the City of Fort Worth as an automobile and truck mechanic.

His hobbies were working on automobiles and following NASCAR.

He is survived by his parents, Bob and Juanita McClacherty of Mansfield, Texas (Bob is a former Jackson County resident); a sister, Myra, of White Settlement, Texas; a sister, Mary Beth, of Kennedale, Texas; a daughter, Jasmine, granddaughter Marlee Marie and son-in-law Brandon, all of Colorado Springs, Colo.; uncle, Robert Shrum and cousins of the Kansas City, Mo. area; aunt, Adeana McClacherty of Topeka and cousins living in Kansas; and good friends James Milligan and Admet Hidic of the Fort Worth area.
