Darrell Williams 1947-2019

Darrell W. Williams, 72, Netawaka, died Wednesday, April 17, 2019, at Medicalodges Jackson County.

He was born April 4, 1947, in Holton, the son of Wayne and Aletha Bottenberg Williams. He graduated from Netawaka High School and was a lifelong member of the Netawaka community.

Mr. Williams worked at Slimaker Dress Factory, Holton Manor for many years, Holton Hospital and Sac & Fox Casino.

He married Bonnie J. Turner on June 16, 1989, in Horton. She survives.

Other survivors include his mother, Aletha Williams, Holton; a sister, Connie Bontrager and husband Roger, Holton; three brothers, David Williams and wife Mary, Netawaka, Henry Williams and wife Marty, Soldier, and Frank Williams and wife Sonja, Netawaka; four stepchildren, Mary, Wendell Allen, Sonny and Ronnie; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 22 at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will follow in Netawaka Cemetery. Family will greet friends one hour prior to service time.
