Claude E. Campbell, 68, Meriden, died Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2017, at his home.
He was born Nov. 18, 1948, at Parsons, the son of Robert Henry and Betty Lou Dunn Campbell. He graduated Hoyt High School in 1966.
Mr. Campbell served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He worked as a lineman for various electric companies for 35 years, retiring in 2008.
He married Lisa Marie Hebert on Aug. 16, 1992, at Meriden. She survives.
Other survivors include a son, Brock Campbell, Topeka; two brothers, Mike Campbell, Topeka, and Donnie Campbell, Meriden; and a sister, Sue Lowery, Hoyt.
Cremation is planned. Memorial contributions may be made to Lisa Campbell, sent in care of Barnett Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 602, Oskaloosa, KS 66066.
