Cheryl Kogler 1974-2015

 

Cheryl Rena Baldridge Kogler, 41, Colby, died Monday, July 13, 2015, in Russell County as a result of a traffic accident.

She was born Jan. 2, 1974, in Sabetha, the daughter of James and Karen Slentz Baldridge. She was raised in Sabetha and graduated from Sabetha High School in 1992. She attended New Tribes Bible Institute in Wisconsin and graduated from Colby Community College with an associate degree in nursing.

Mrs. Kogler was a paraprofessional at Colby Middle School.

She married Ron Kogler on Sept. 18, 1999, in Colby. He survives.

Other survivors include a daughter, Kylee, and a son, Korey, both of the home; her mother, Karen Bald­ridge, Sabetha; and three brothers, Gary Baldridge and wife Connie, Holton, Rodney Baldridge and wife Pam, Liberal, Mo., and Greg Baldridge, Las Vegas, Nev. She was preceded in death by her father, James Baldridge; and her brother, Steve Baldridge.

Mrs. Kogler was cremated. Me­morial services were held Friday at Celebration Community Church in Colby, with Pastor Brant Rice officiating.
