Bryan Spiker 1965-2022

Bryan David Spiker, 56, Topeka, formerly of Holton, died Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2022, at Midland Hospice Care in Topeka.

He was born Dec. 26, 1965, in Topeka, the son of Quentin Boyd and Rebecca Rose Davis Spiker. He graduated from Holton High School in 1984 and attended Kaw Valley Vo-Tech.

Mr. Spiker was a forklift driver for Mars Chocolate Factory. He also had worked for Wilde Tool Company in Hiawatha, CJ Foods in Sabetha and BMB in Holton.

Survivors include four daughters, Elizabeth M. “Shelly” Smith, Hiawatha, Beckey Stark and wife Stephanie, Salina, Crystal Funk and husband Steven, Topeka, and Jessica Miller, Perry; son, Andrew J. Miller, Perry; sister, Coleen Spiker-Wilson and husband Steven, Warsaw, Mo.; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three nieces, two nephews, six great-nieces and a great-nephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Quentin and Rebecca Spiker.

Family will greet friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 17 at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Granada Cemetery. Mr. Spiker will lie in state from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 16 at the funeral home.
