Bill Twombly 1954-2022

William “Bill” Twombly of Denison was born Sept. 19, 1954, and died too soon on March 26, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Twombly; his wife, Brenda Twombly; and his brother, James Twombly. He is survived by his sister, Cindy Cluck; his sons, Scott Twombly and Doug Twombly; five beloved grandchildren; and his sweet dog, Gabby.

Bill loved and took care of his family. He was the biggest Chiefs fan. He thrived on being outdoors, fishing, hunting or hiking, whether with his dad or with his sons and grandkids; it was always best outside.

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy and enjoyed traveling and exploring new places and new people. Bill would tell anyone who would listen his newest tale, and if you were lucky enough, you got to hear them all, repeatedly. He liked nothing more than giving folks a good laugh.

Bill had a special connection to life and is deeply missed. There will be a celebration of life for Bill at a location and time to be determined.
