Becki Patterson 1954-2018

Rebecca “Becki” Wah-Satch-Mo-Quah Sue Patterson, 63, Horton, died Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018, at Manor Care of Topeka.

She was born Sept. 22, 1954, in Kansas City, Mo., the daughter of Joe and Mary Belle Ray Patterson.

Ms. Patterson worked for the Kickapoo Tribe as a cook at the se nior citizens center and Golden Ea gle Casino. She helped open the Sac-N-Fox Truck Stop and the Kickapoo Truck Stop, then worked for Kanza as a case worker before having to re tire due to health reasons.

Survivors include two daughters, Amy Mick and husband Dean, Holton, and Jenifer Glessner, Hor ton; a son, Jason Patterson, Horton; her parents, Joe and Mary Belle Pat terson, Horton; a brother, Bill Patter son, Horton; 10 grandchildren, Matt Mick, Kyle Mick, Tyler Mick, Brit ney Mick, Ramsey Mick, Shilah Pat terson, Shelby Patterson, Chandler Newman, Makena Patterson and Clint Glessner; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Frankie Patterson, on Jan. 24, 1997.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date with inurnment in the Kennekuk Cemetery on the Kickapoo Reservation.
