Barbara Lynch 1955-2019
Barbara Ann Lynch, 64, of Holton, passed Thursday, Oct. 24, 2019, at Olathe Medical Center.
She was born Jan. 7, 1955 in Topeka, the daughter of Kenneth J. and Betty J. (Stout) Baker.
Barbara graduated from Shawnee Heights High School in 1973. She lived in the Holton community since 1985 and previously in Wetmore.
Barbara was a homemaker and enjoyed volunteering for the Crisis Pregnancy Center and area nursing homes. She was a member of Circleville Christian Church and former member of Holton First Baptist Church. She also volunteered at her churches.
She married Johnny D. Lynch on Aug. 9, 1975 in Tecumseh. They celebrated more than 44 years of marriage.
Survivors include her husband, Johnny Lynch of the home; two sons, John H. Lynch of Circleville and Jacob F. Lynch (Kim) of McFarland; a daughter, Lisa Browning (Matt) of Circleville; a sister, Karen Petersilie (Kenneth) of Garnett; a brother, Harry Baker (Michelle) of West Plains, Mo.; 11 grandchildren, Jesse (Payton), Sydney and Lillian Lynch, Alexander, Talen and Brody Browning, Silas Lynch and Anissa, Rayona and Valantine Munoz and Ben Wade; and five great-grandchildren, Sophia, Remington, Jackson, Lazarus and Ezequiel.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Betty Baker.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2019 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton.
Burial will follow in the Wetmore Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday evening.
