Arin Alley 1985-2018

Arin Lea Alley, 32, Holton, died Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2018, at Stormont-Vail Hospital.

She was born Oct. 16, 1985, in Onaga, the daughter of Dennis L. Alley and Mary L. Cattrell Vaincourt. She graduated from Jackson Heights High School in 2004, attended one year at Johnson County Community College and later earned her administrative assistant degree from Kaw Valley Vo-Tech.

Miss Alley worked for Hallmark Cards in Topeka as a receiving clerk supervisor and also worked for various medical offices filing insurance. In her earlier years, she worked for Wykert Grocery in Circleville and Ray’s 66 Gas Station in Holton.

She attended Circleville Christian Church, where she was baptized on April 4, 2012.

Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Mary and Ross Vaincourt, Holton; her father, Dennis Alley, Holton; a sister, Reva Alley, Topeka; a brother, Ryan Alley and wife Lindsay, Circleville; two stepsisters, Amanda Meuleman and husband Ted and Andrea Halliwell and husband Evan, both of London, Ontario, Canada; three nieces, Abri and Adalie Alley and Elsie Harris; eight stepnieces and nephews, Brittany, Valen, Stella, Kristopher and Xavier Meuleman and Breaden, Mikela and Kalen Halliwell; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 7 at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial followed in Holton Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Arin Alley Memorial Fund, to be designated at a later date and sent in care of Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
