Adrienne Hendricks 1926-2018

Adrienne Leota Hendricks, 92, Holton, formerly of Winfield, died Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018, at Medicalodges Jackson County.

She was born Sept. 13, 1926, in Douglas, the daughter of Raymond and Myrtle Spires Gray.

Mrs. Hendricks worked in accounting for Guymon-Petro and later for State Farm Insurance, both in Winfield.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Winfield and a ladies circle at the church.

She married Dan Hendricks on Sept. 15, 1951, at Winfield. He preceded her in death, as did her parents; a brother, Eugene Gray; and a daughter, Linda Esry.

Survivors include a son, Michael Kraus and wife Diane, Shell Knob, Mo.; four grandchildren, Brett Esry and wife Hilary, Jade Winterwolf, Kitra Hunter and husband Doug and Kirsten Forbess and husband Dewey; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Private services will be held at a later date in Winfield.
