Gladys Frasier 1931-2018

Gladys “Althea” Frasier, 87, Holton, died Thursday, June 14, 2018, at Medicalodges Jackson County.

She was born March 19, 1931, in Crawford, Neb., the daughter of Henry and Ada Emiline McGriff Banker. She graduated from high school in Nebraska and graduated from dental college in Denver, Colo.

Mrs. Frasier was a dental technician for Dr. Pepper in Rawlings, Wyo., for more than 15 years.

She was a member of Ladies Auxiliary VFW and Rebecca’s at First United Methodist Church, both in Rawlings, Wyo.

She married Merel Bobby Frasier on April 17, 1960, in Carbon County, Wyo. He died Feb. 18, 2001. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Sherry Lee Crabtree, on Feb. 14, 2007; a granddaughter, Pam Strimple; and three brothers, Gerald, Bill and Wayne Banker.

Survivors include a daughter, Kathleen M. Myers and husband Charles, Rice, Texas; nine grandchildren, Wesley Strimple, Karen Huff, Robert Eugene Strimple, Ronald Myers, Anita Benze, Cindy Sutherland, Darlene McCollough, Denise Madsen and Tom Crabtree; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Private family inurnment will be held at a later date. Mercer Funeral Home in Holton is in charge of arrangements.
