Schocks to celebrate 50th anniversary

David and Mary Schock of Holton will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open reception from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 8, at the Evangel United Methodist Church Life Center, 227 Pennsylvania Ave., in Holton.
The event is being hosted by their daughter, Rosemary, and granddaughter, Rosalie Wilkerson, and their son, John, and his wife, Christy Schock.
Mary Allgeier and David Schock were married on Jan. 6, 1967 at the Methodist Church in Clarinda, Iowa, by the Rev. John L. Buhut.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend the celebration. The couple requests no gifts. Cards may be sent to 26067 Q4 Rd., Holton, KS 66436.
