Eaton-Yingst

Kenneth Eaton and Laura Eaton of Topeka are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Caroline Elizabeth, to Jacob Porter Yingst, son of Jon and Cheryl Yingst of Whiting.

Caroline is a 2012 graduate of Hayden High School in Topeka and is a student at Washburn University majoring in elementary education. Caroline anticipates graduating from Washburn University in December 2016 after completing her student teaching in USD 336 in the fall.

Jacob graduated from Holton High School in 2012 and Kansas State University in May 2016 with a bachelor of science degree in agriculture economics. Jacob is employed by Schlaegel-Tanking Tax and Accounting and Schlaegel Popcorn.

Caroline is the granddaughter of Kenneth and Carol Gartner of Topeka and Peggy Dugan of Topeka. Jacob is the grandson of Gary and Marian Schlaegel of Whiting, Patricia Yingst of Kansas City and the late Ralph Yingst.

Jacob and Caroline will be united in marriage on Saturday, July 16, 2016, at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Topeka. They will reside in rural Holton.
