Bottoms to celebrate 70th anniversary

Ralph and Isla Bottom of Holton will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary on May 20. Ralph Bottom and Isla Figge were married at Duluth Lutheran Church in Duluth.
Ralph worked at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company for 30 years before retiring in 1983. He and Isla also farmed in the Havensville area for 60 years.
The couple’s children are Ralph E. Bottom and his wife, Linda, of Meriden; Charlene Reynolds and her husband, Garold, and Darlene Boeding and her husband, Joe, all of Topeka; and Linda Bottom of Omaha, Neb.
The couple has seven children, 20 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild expected in October.
