Stithem-Viergever

Darrin and Jill Stithem of Hoyt are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Maggie Joy Stithem, to Cody Lynn Viergever of Mayetta, the son of Darrell and Debbie Viergever of Mayetta.

Grandparents of the bride are Emma Jo Stithem of Hoyt, Nonie Stithem of Topeka, the late Gayle Stithem and the late Bruce and Janet Hight. Grandparents of the groom are the late Andy and Lula Viergever, the late Garfield Hoffman and the late Phyllis Hoffman.

The bride-to-be is a 2011 graduate of Royal Valley High School. She graduated from Kansas State University in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology. She is currently attending Washburn University in the physical therapy assistant program.

The future groom is a 2010 graduate of Royal Valley High School. He graduated from Baker University in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in sports administration. He is currently employed at SE2, a division of Security Benefit in Topeka.

The couple will wed at 5 p.m. on July 16, 2016, at the bride’s grandparents’ farm in rural Hoyt.
