Longrens to celebrate 50th anniversary

Paul and Mary Longren will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 29.
Mary Zibell of Holton and Paul Longren of Lawrence were married on Aug. 29, 1965, at the EUB Church in Holton. They met at Forest Park Church Camp in Topeka in July 1963.
Their children are Melissa Erickson and her husband, Joel, of Olathe; Matthew Longren and his wife, Amy, of Lawrence; and Mark Longren of Savannah, Ga. Their grandchildren are Larissa Mitchell and her husband, Riley, of Bartlesville, Okla.; Lars Erickson and Lance Erickson, both of Olathe; Rachel Longren of Jena, Germany; and Luke, Isaac and Ben Longren, all of Lawrence.
The Longrens, formerly of Holton, now live in rural Westmoreland.
