Water festival educates youth

During the recent annual countywide Ag and Water Festival at Banner Creek Reservoir, sponsored by the Jackson County Conservation District, Holly Shutt (right) spoke to students at Royal Valley about how to identify different local wildlife. Shutt is the Farm Bill Wildlife Biologist with Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever for Nemaha, Marshall, Brown, Jackson and Pottawatomie counties.
