Tickets still available for Thursday's Hall of Fame Banquet

About 60 tickets remain for the 10th annual Holton/Jackson County Chamber of Commerce Hall of Fame Banquet, Chamber officials noted on Tuesday.

The 2015 Hall of Fame class, including Bill and Debra Brown, Mike Ford, Brad Stauffer and the late Jim Potter, will be honored at the annual dinner, scheduled for this Thursday, Feb. 5 at the Evangel United Methodist Church Family Life Center. A total of 250 tickets were allocated for the event, it was reported.

A social hour will begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. Boomers' Steakhouse, Grill and Holton Catering will serve a dinner of beef bourguignon with garlic mashed potatoes, spring greens and apple salad, crusty French bread and butter and lemon cream layer cake, it was reported.

Tickets for the dinner are $30 and may be purchased at the main Denison State Bank, The Farmers State Bank and Holton National Bank locations in Holton. Tickets may also be purchased at the Chamber office, now located in the Gossip building (Bell Graphics) just east of the Square on Fifth Street.
