Three arrested in thefts of electronics in four states
Three Kansas City-area residents accused of multiple thefts of electronic devices from department stores in a four-state area, including the Walmart in Holton, were arrested on Wednesday, March 28 by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, it was reported.
Jackson County Sheriff Tim Morse said that Raven Alexandria Neece, 36, Joshua Braxton Thigpen, 31, and Karly Lyndon Barnes, 23, were all arrested that morning on multiple charges and taken to the Jackson County Detention Center. Neece and Thigpen listed Ferrelview, Mo., as their address; Barnes listed Kansas City, Mo., as her address.
The three of them are suspected of being involved in the removal of theft detection devices from and subsequent theft of thousands of dollars worth of high-end electronic products such as electronic tablets, iPads and video games from Walmart and other department stores in Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and Iowa, Morse said.
