McNicholas files for sheriff

Republican Bob McNicholas of Netawaka filed Monday for the Jackson County Sheriff position.
McNicholas also ran for sheriff in the 2012 general election.
Current Jackson County Sheriff Tim Morse, who is a Democrat, has also filed for the election.
This year’s general election will be held on Nov. 8 and will include a variety of national, state and local positions. If needed, a primary election has been scheduled for Aug. 2.
Candidates have until noon on June 1 to file for the election.
