Community Health Needs Assessment Town Hall set for Nov. 15

In order to gauge the overall health needs of Jackson County residents, Holton Community Hospital and Jackson County Health Department are inviting the public to participate in a Community Health Needs Assessment Town Hall on from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 15, in the back room of The Hot Spot at 124 W. 5th St. in Holton.  

This event is being held to review current county health status data and prioritize and discuss health needs of Jackson County residents. Feedback from the meeting will also serve to fulfill government mandates. 

“This work is key to determine Jackson County health direction for next three years. We hope all county stakeholders and residents can attend,” said Carrie Saia, Holton Community Hospital CEO.

A light lunch will also be served starting at 11:15 a.m.  Vince Vandehaar, principal consultant at VVV Consultants LLC from Olathe, has been hired to facilitate this meeting.
