Advance voting now available in Jackson County

 

Registered Jackson County voters can cast their vote in advance for the April 7 spring election beginning Tuesday at the Jackson County Clerk’s Office, located on the second floor of the Jackson County Courthouse.

Advanced voting for the election, which includes positions for city council, school board and the Meadowlark Extension District #7 board, runs between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The last day to vote in advance is noon on Monday, April 6. 

Any registered voter can vote in advance, and they do not need a special reason to do so, it has been reported. All voters must bring some form of photo identification in order to vote.

On Tuesday, April 7, voting polls in Jackson County will be open for 12 consecutive hours from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
