Jackson Heights High School student Garrett Klahr, who died in a 2018 traffic accident, was honored by his classmates (shown from left to right, Dylan Thompson, Amaya Marlatt, Jason White, Garrett Will and Kati Woltje) during JHHS commencement exercises on Sunday. Nineteen JHHS seniors received their diplomas during commencement exercises on May 16, ending with a balloon release in Klahr's honor.
